Mondays 3-5pm Pick up from WBS and OGDEN available* $150 In visual art, mixed media describes artwork in which more than one medium or material has been employed. Assemblages, collages, and sculpture are three common examples of art using different media. Materials used to create mixed media art include, but are not limited to, paint, cloth, paper, wood and found objects. This will be an exciting and creative class including lots of exploration....Thinking outside the box! *If your child attends Wrightsville Beach School, pick up is available! Please let us know when you sign up if you would like for us to pick up your child from WBS. They will be dismissed as a "walker" to Sprout. *If your child attends Ogden Elementary and you would like to arrange pick up, please indicate on the sign up form. Your child will be dismissed as a car rider with Shannon Agee or Megan Calabria. As we receive sign ups, we will send specific instructions. Sprout studio is centered around the idea and practice of process art. We create with an attitude of play and discovery. We LOVE providing the opportunity to explore and experiment with different art materials and techniques because we know that’s how children learn the best. Each class has multiple invitations to create; your child will make their own choices and travel at their own pace. We hope you will join us!
