Hi! I am Shannon Agee, "Ringleader of Creative Operations" here at Sprout.

In 2017, I took a leap of faith and opened my dream studio, leaving behind my career as a teacher in the NC public school system. My vision for Sprout was and still is based on Process Art for children, often incorporating the Reggio Emilia Approach of ART education, which is based on the image of the child.

 

This philosophy, combined with my desire to share the practice of yoga in a fun, nonjudgemental atmosphere, led to the idea of creating Sprout Yoga & Art for Kids. 

I have dreamt of owning my own studio for as long as I can remember. I wanted to create a special space where the students feel comfortable, happy and inspired to be themselves. 

 

I am so grateful for the community of Wrightsville Beach for welcoming me with open arms, supporting me as I fumble through the left-brained world of business ownership, website design and planning ahead! It is sometimes a struggle for this heavily right-brained gal!

My husband Brian and I have been happily married almost 25 years! I have two children, Sam, 23, and Max, 21. All three of my guys have supported me from the beginning of this fantastic journey, and continue to be my favorite people! We also have two girls in the family. Beanie and Masey, our rescue dogs....the coolest dogs on the planet!
